Description
SGCB Wool Polishing Pad Ø130 mm – polishing pad made of medium-hard wool with long pile for rotary and eccentric polishing machines. Used for restorative polishing and removal of moderate defects on soft and medium-hard varnishes.
The 18 mm long pile is collected in a dense pattern on a 10 mm thick cushion made of cellular foam rubber. It cushions uneven pressure on the surface, minimizing the risk of deep scratches. During use, the cushion does not deform and reliably holds the pile.
Since wool wheels, unlike foam ones, heat up noticeably during polishing, an additional task of the pad is to remove heat from the wheel. To increase the efficiency of heat removal and reduce the risk of overheating of the surfaces being processed, a central hole is also provided. It helps heated air and used paste to exit from under the wheel, which is especially important during long-term polishing.
The wear-resistant Velcro fastener ensures a strong grip of the circle with the sole of the polishing machine. After work, the circle must be blown with compressed air, washed with water and dried, after which it is ready for use again.
